In order to obtain a Russian visa, it is necessary to provide a medical insurance policy.

If you do not provide an insurance, there may be problems:

1. your visa request will not be admitted
2. you may be refused a visa

Where to get insurance for visa process?

The insurance must be issued by an insurance company,
accredited by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and recognized by the Russian consulates for issuing visas to Russia

An insurance company may be Russian or your local company, if meets the above requirements.

WHAT INSURANCE  DO YOU NEED FOR VISA PROCESS?

Main requirements are:

Territory -
A policy must be valid on the whole territory of the Russian Federation

Validity period -
The whole period of visa validity

 Medical insurance policy must contain:

1. contract date;
2. policy number;
3. full name  of a policy holder ( as written in the passport );
4. details of the insurer;
5. a policy must be valid during the whole stay in the Russian Federation in case of single- or multiple-entry visa for period up to 90 days;
6. services: medical and other services ;
7. territory of stay - Russia
8. coverage territory – Russian Federation or the whole world , including Russia, or Europe , including Russia.
9. signature and stamp of the insurer.

For a multiple-entry visa valid for a year or more an applicant must submit a medical insurance policy valid for the duration of stay in Russia.

How much is Insurance for a visa to Russia

Cost of insurance for visa process is  1.7 euro for each day of visa validity for persons not older than 65 years.

For example, if you require a visa for 10 days, the insurance will cost 17 euro.

For a 3 –months visa the cost of insurance is 153 Euro.

How to order Insurance for a visa to Russia

Include in your message:

1) copy of passport ( front page )
2) insurance dates (from – to  dates)
3) not necessary, if you have – Russian spelling of Name and Surname (may see in a previous Russian visa ) 

We will confirm the cost of your insurance and provide you a link to the payment page.

Upon receipt of payment, our Insurance Department will issue your insurance.

Insurance is issued on electronic forms and you get  your insurance policy by email.
This Insurance policy on electronic form is accepted by the consulates of the Russian Federation.

You print this policy and attached it s printed version to the visa application form.

Every policy has a unique contract  (policy)  number and a QR code to verify the authenticity of the insurance.

Insurance policies are issued only during our office opening  hours.

Online insurance is not available now.
